Seven fields covered by our project record, from rural roads to oilfield stations.
Roads are our oldest and broadest line of work. Since 2007 we have built dozens of roads in Qurna, Zubair, Abu Al-Khaseeb and the marshlands, from village roads a few hundred metres long to the maintenance of a 25 km stretch of Al-Taawun Road, alongside field roads for the oil companies operating in Basra.
Since 2022 we have worked on the Basra International Airport development programme under successive contracts: rehabilitating the passenger terminal, the VIP hall and the runway, building the airport gate, the inspection building and the security buildings, and paving roads and car parks. Our record also includes phase one of the Shalamcheh border crossing.
Our building record began with the rehabilitation of Basra's Central Library, school classrooms and the Gulf Stars Complex for international organisations, and grew to the development of the Basra Police College and the rehabilitation, maintenance and development of Basra Sports City.
We have worked inside Basra's oilfields since 2011: well pads and their roads in Luhais, Siba and Block 9 and for ExxonMobil Iraq, civil, electrical and mechanical works for camps, the engineering, procurement and construction contract for Kuwait Energy's crude offloading station, and the Muhalla pumping station for Basrah Gas Company.
Our electrical work includes rerouting the Basra 400 kV cable in 2024, new tower-mounted feeders from Al-Bakr substation to Al-Duraihimiya, the Imam Al-Sadiq district substation, and the supply of power generators to checkpoints in the Zubair field for ENI Iraq.
Under Basra's afforestation and green-belts committee we rehabilitated and planted the airport road from Al-Gzaiza Bridge to Al-Shuaiba Bridge and established a 730,000 m² reserve. In 2024 we planted the median and green belt on both sides of the Basra International Airport entrance road, and built a family park near the airport.
We support oil companies and contractors with what their sites need: heavy equipment and personnel for ENI, machinery, trucks and materials for Block 9 on a call-off basis, vehicles with drivers, 20,000 m³ of Type B material for ExxonMobil projects, and consumables and warehouse equipment.
